Why This Role

I've spent years running and showing up for online communities directly — attending to a Farcaster community at Proxy Studio, building an Ordinals collector community from zero, and managing expat/tourist audiences for a bar I owned in Floripa. On top of that, I've paid the "gringo tax" myself: blue dollar runs in Buenos Aires, Wise freezes in Europe, offramp hell at a Bitcoin conference in the US. I know the payment pain nomads complain about because I've lived it, and I bring AI-driven workflows that turn community monitoring into a repeatable growth channel on top of that community instinct.

Experience

FIPE HOJE — fipehoje.com | Founder & Solo Builder |2026–Present
- Built and shipped a production web platform solo using AI agent orchestration (Hermes Agent) — architecture, code, deploy, and ongoing maintenance.
- Runs automated SEO content pipeline (hundreds of pages per month) and monitoring with no dedicated engineering team.

World Peace Rebels (@wprebels) — worldpeace.now | Founder & Community Lead | 2025–Present
- Built a Bitcoin Ordinals community from zero on Discord/Twitter; sustained 12+ months.
- Onboarded non-technical collectors to Bitcoin wallets, minting and trading.

Proxy Studio & ProxySwap — Operations Manager (Remote) | 2024
- Supported a community-run initiative on Farcaster: attended to and engaged directly with community members alongside operational duties for the founder — day-to-day questions, onboarding help, and presence in the channel.
- Built and shipped a live Dune Analytics dashboard tracking acquisition, retention and churn — cut analysis time 60% and enabled data-driven growth calls.
- Designed onboarding, support and financial-planning playbooks that supported 3x growth without proportional headcount.
- Rewrote product documentation from technical to user-centric, cutting support ticket volume.
- Owned $500k+ ops budget; hired and briefed contractors across content, design and dev.

Obscura.io — Operations Manager (Remote) | 2021–2023
- Ran budget ownership and vendor negotiation for ambiguous, founder-led launches in a Web3 arts/culture org.
- Partnered with marketing on Twitter/X presence and community events (Spaces, AMAs, IRL); ran content calendar.
- Handled community questions on ecosystem/grant programs, translating technical criteria into plain guidance.

O Artesão Pub House — Owner & Operations Manager, Florianópolis | 2015–2017
- Ran full P&L for a 7 person bar/restaurant including serving expats, tourists and nomads in Floripa;
- Owned Meta/Google Ads end-to-end (targeting, creative testing, UTM, ROAS);
- Sourced and managed a freelancer network (photographers, videographers, designers) and turned reviews/DMs/events into a repeat-customer loop.

Nomad & Expat Context

- Born and based in Florianópolis, a Latam nomad hub — fluent in the café/coworking/visa/payments landscape locals and visitors navigate daily.
- 5+ trips to Buenos Aires (2022–24): blue dollar, MEP, crypto ramps, Western Union.
- Bitcoin Conference USA (2025): firsthand offramp friction — exchange limits, KYC, bad rates, international cards failing at checkout.
- Italy, Spain, Portugal, Peru: Wise caps/freezes, no PIX/ARS rails, Eurozone fees, cash-heavy economies.
- Languages: Native Portuguese, fluent English, conversational Spanish.

AI Workflow Proficiency

- Daily user of Hermes Agent and ComfyUI; designed a monitoring → drafting → review pipeline and can set it up across several channels (Telegram, Discord, WhatsApp, X/Twitter, Reddit) for high-intent conversations.
- Working knowledge of setting up automations and lightweight integrations with AI tools — connecting sources, filtering signal from noise, and routing drafts for human review in a way that supports lean community and growth work.
- Comfortable using AI tools to speed up research, draft responses, and repurpose content without losing the human tone needed for community-facing roles.

What I'm Still Building (Being Direct)

- I don't yet have a public track record of upvoted Reddit/Telegram replies specifically in r/digitalnomad or r/expats — I'm active in Floripa, Brazilian and International web3 groups but haven't systematically documented it. I'd start compiling this in week one and can share genuine screenshots on request rather than claim proof I can't produce today.
- I haven't lived abroad long-term (my nomad exposure is trip-based, not resident-based) — I'm leaning on direct payment-pain experience across several countries and hands-on community-facing roles instead.
- I bring a strong ownership mindset: I take responsibility and adapt quickly. I’m a generalist by nature and work well in lean teams, moving between community, operations, content, and product-adjacent work as needed.
- I’m open to starting with a short paid trial or contract phase so we can validate fit quickly before committing long term.

Logistics

- Available immediately; based in Florianópolis (GMT-3), full overlap with Buenos Aires.
- Async-first, comfortable with Loom/Notion reporting; open to any trips necessary.
